SO after 3 weeks wait, we had finally reached the day where we get to see baby on the big screen again! I was hoping we could get a clearer pic of baby and find out the gender too.
WELL, turns out baby has changed positions now. The head is right near my left hip, as opposed to being near my right. Legs are on the right side of me near my ribs (no wonder I was in pain sometimes) and turns out that arms are on my left (baby has really strong punches too!) Anyway, baby’s head was in an awkward position this time, we couldn’t even see the face! WAH.
The midwife who works there said that our baby is petite and again said I have a “neat little bump” lol. But I guess I’ll find out the size of baby at our hospital scan on the 8th. I’m so, so glad we picked this place to get our scan done, cus they are letting us have another go, until we can get decent pictures and a dvd of baby. Most places just get the scan over and done with and leave it at that. Plus, on their website it states that they will only let you have a repeat scan once, regardless of the pictures obtained in the next scan. So I’m really glad the people are so nice and understanding. Our next 3D scan is on the 17th of Nov!
After that we went to Birmingham. Yet again it was a gloomy, rainy day. I swear it happens every time we go there?
Matt and I had a look in the shops for baby stuff, but nothing really took to our fancy. I seen way better stuff online. We also had a lovely Thai lunch. It was AMAZING! I love the place. I wish it wasn’t so expensive though. If that place was in Leicester, I’d eat there all the time and become more of a fatty! After lunch, we wandered around the shops a bit more and eventually ended up buying some Krispy Kreme donuts (the whole reason we went to Birmingham in the first place).
I’m really lucky to have someone like Matt in my life. He spoils me so much it’s unreal. Not many people, actually no one I’ve been with, would agree to travel about 100 miles all in all, just for some bloody donuts. It’s not like I even had to convince him, it was just a simple “can we go get some Krispy Kreme donuts?”
To which he replied, “Yes we can go, when do you want to go?”
He is actually really lovely, and I’m so excited for our future together. It’s not often where you meet someone who is equally as crazy as you are and get along with them. (Like earlier when we were sat in bed, TV on mute, listening to baby’s heartbeat and giggling to ourselves.)
We’re just 2 weirdos made for each other. :)
